November Favorite Thing
A picture of my dog Droopy and cat Bambi this Thanksgiving season. Just kidding -- no dog or cat -- I just thought this was a cute picture to start this "What I'm Thankful for" 2013 blog post. Aren't blogs fun??? LOL!!!
This is my second year of blogging and if you missed last year's blog post of "What I'm thankful for" -- check it out here:
I remember when...
It was just April when Adrian (my 16 year old) joined the boy scouts! Now we have two scouts!!!
It was just May 19 Chris Biernbaum and I ran in a Twilight 5K Run/Walk in Ferguson, MO just for the fun of it.
It was just June when we went on a family road trip. We visited Mount Rushmore, Arizona, Badlands, Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Colorado and other places in between:
Mount Rushmore
In Yellowstone National Park
Saw Pujols at an Angels game in LA
Stayed in our first log cabin in Wyoming
Best of all our visit with my brother in LA
It was just August I was honored to be a guest on the Fit4Life Radio Broadcast. If you missed that interview you can check it out here:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/fit4life/2013/08/20/living-diet-free It was so much fun getting a chance to share with others that we don't have to live a life of yo-yo dieting. God is good!
Oh I could go on and on but I will just say that God is faithful and all these THINGS are great -- but the greatest thing of all is knowing Jesus Christ and having a personal relationship with Him. This year has had its share of struggles as well, don't get it twisted thinking that because life is good -- that there are no hick-ups. Oh yes, we have our share of them -- but I wish to focus on the positive instead of the negative. God is faithful!!!
Lets have a thankful heart this Thanksgiving and everyday.
Until next time...
